How LumpPad works

Every token launched on LumpPad is paired with a Cardano native token, chosen at launch. You buy the token with its pair token and sell it back for that same token. There is no ADA side to any pool.

Pairs open now: $LUMP, $NIGHT, $DONG, $PUFFLE, $ALIENS and $USDCx. New pairs are added over time. Each one gets its own contract, compiled from the same source with only the pair token and its scale changed.

One pool, from the first block

A launch mints 1,000,000,000 tokens and puts all of them into one pool at the shared LumpPad contract for its pair. Nobody keeps a free allocation. The pool prices like a constant-product market maker with a fixed virtual reserve, so a new token starts at a set value and the price moves with what people actually put in. Each pair’s reserve is sized so a launch starts at a similar value in ADA whichever pair you pick. There is no curve to finish and no graduation. The pool you buy from on day one is the pool for the life of the token.

The virtual reserve is a pricing number, not money. What the pool can pay out to sellers is only what buyers have paid in. Every token page shows that real backing separately from the fully diluted value.

What a trade costs

  1. 0.5% of the trade plus a small flat fee goes to the platform. The flat fee is one thousandth of the pair’s starting value.
  2. 1% goes to the token creator.
  3. 0.3% stays in the pool as depth, permanently. There are no LP tokens to redeem it with.

Fees are not paid out on each trade. They build up inside the pool until someone presses Claim, and the contract sends each share where it must go.

Where the platform fee goes

Half of every platform fee goes to $LUMP and the other half to the LumpPad treasury. The contract enforces the split on chain. On a LUMP pair, the $LUMP half is sent to an address that can never spend, so it is burned for good. On every other pair, burning the pair token would do nothing for LUMP holders. So the contract pays that half to a dedicated buyback wallet, and LumpPad uses it to buy LUMP and burn it.

A creator can choose at launch to send their own 1% share the same way. On newer pairs a claim must also be signed by the creator or the treasury, so nobody else can move fees.

Because of the flat fee, a position worth less than about the flat fee cannot be sold. The page tells you before you try.

The figures for each pair

  • LUMP pairs: start at 10,000,000 LUMP, flat fee 10,000 LUMP; half the platform fee is burned as LUMP directly; claims may be sent by anyone.
  • NIGHT pairs: start at 10,000 NIGHT, flat fee 10 NIGHT; half the platform fee goes to the LUMP buyback (in NIGHT); claims must be signed by the creator or the treasury.
  • DONG pairs: start at 2,500,000 DONG, flat fee 2,500 DONG; half the platform fee goes to the LUMP buyback (in DONG); claims must be signed by the creator or the treasury.
  • PUFFLE pairs: start at 30,000,000 PUFFLE, flat fee 30,000 PUFFLE; half the platform fee goes to the LUMP buyback (in PUFFLE); claims must be signed by the creator or the treasury.
  • ALIENS pairs: start at 40,000,000 ALIENS, flat fee 40,000 ALIENS; half the platform fee goes to the LUMP buyback (in ALIENS); claims must be signed by the creator or the treasury.
  • USDCx pairs: start at 350 USDCx, flat fee 0.35 USDCx; half the platform fee goes to the LUMP buyback (in USDCx); claims must be signed by the creator or the treasury.

What cannot happen

  1. Liquidity cannot be withdrawn. The contract has no withdraw path and no admin key.
  2. Supply cannot change. The minting policy runs once and never again.
  3. Fees cannot be redirected. The treasury, burn and buyback addresses are compiled into the contracts.
  4. Nobody gets tokens for free. There are no airdrops, presales or team allocations.
  5. A pair cannot change. The pair token is compiled into the contract the token was launched under.

Selling returns the pair token, not ADA

If you want ADA after selling, swap the pair token on a DEX afterwards. LumpPad never sells it for you.

Launching

A launch costs the network fee plus 3 ADA that stays in the pool forever as its minimum balance. You pick the pair, and you can fold your first buy into the launch transaction so nobody can get in ahead of you.
